The Iron & Crystal Chandelier was the first design produced by Niermann Weeks. The whitewashed original was found in an old, French convent outside Rouen. Candle picks and stumps of huge, old beeswax candles revealed that the chandelier had never been electrified. Our version features hand-forged braces and rivets, hand-made repoussée details and traces of rust and old whitewash. This classic piece’s combination of stark elegance and close attention to many tiny details captures the spirit of the original.
