The Italian Jardinieres were created using neoclassical elements. The excavation of Pompeii at the turn of the 18th century inspired a whole generation of design motifs. We combined an Etruscan tripod, the anthropomorphic feet of an ancient lamp, Triton’s head from a Georgian sconce and a garland from Pompeii’s Villa of the Bettii. The result is at once undeniably classic yet distinctly modern.
